limpopoboreholes.co.za is an independent borehole quote service for Limpopo. We are not a drilling company. You type in your plot, we show you what a borehole is likely to cost there, and we pass your request to a Limpopo driller for a firm quote.
Who runs this site?
The site is run by Lifa Yende through LY CONSULTING, a South African company registered with the CIPC (enterprise number K2025781371). You can find Lifa on LinkedIn.
Where does the water information come from?
The water levels, water quality and borehole flow shown for your plot come from the Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS): its groundwater monitoring boreholes, its groundwater chemistry records for Limpopo, and its hydrogeological maps. Some of these records are old, and water underground changes from one spot to the next, so the tool can only show you what is likely around your plot. It cannot tell you where the water is. Only drilling can.
Where do the prices come from?
Prices come from price lists published by a variety of drillers near you and across Limpopo. We say when we last checked them. Your driller's written quote is the price you pay.
Does it cost anything?
No. The estimate and the quote request are free to you. Drillers we work with may pay us for the enquiries we pass on.
